Over time, Reiki has gained wider acceptance, particularly in the healthcare community. Hospitals are increasingly recognizing the benefits of Reiki and conducting research to better understand its effects on stress and anxiety. 

Previous studies have shown that patients who receive Reiki experience significant reductions in stress and depression. Even one year after receiving six Reiki sessions, these positive effects remain evident. In England, hospitals are now employing Reiki practitioners to work with patients before and after surgery, highlighting the growing acceptance of Reiki as a valuable tool in healthcare.
